Aimed at a demonstration to a game publisher, fluidImages Entertainment completes custom performance capture for Nuclear Nightmare.

fluidImages Entertainment was contracted to realize 14 custom performance captured animations in DSQ format for Element115 Entertainment's Nuclear Nightmare demo. fluidImages assisted Element115 in providing animation for two key characters and specifically was requested to ensure that all provided animations for the primary character were able to be used in conjunction with the standard Toque animations.
fluidImages was also contracted by Element115 to convert additional static content for their exciting demo.
fluidImages's motion capture abilities and pipeline knowledge are providing independent game developers, animators, and film special effects a new avenue for exploring the creative possibilities. Motion capture began as an expensive exploration by the military in its effort to track enemies. Over time the process developed into a high end ability to track the motion of actors and transform their actions into animated sequences. Unfortunately, the cost and complexity of these ventures limited their use to major motion pictures studios.
